Colors 15.69 ― 15 Years in 69 Covers” is an exhibition put on by the Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul to celebrate the images produced by this often controversial magazine. Known for it’s eye-catching and often shocking photographs (such as the first issue, which depicted a newborn baby with her umbilical cord still attached to her mother), Colors has caused its share of controversy. With themes as diverse as slavery, shopping, AIDS and animals, the exhibition will be on display at the gallery of Kyungpook National University until Feb. 8.
