“China Gate,” an exhibition of up-and-comers in China’s modern art scene, will be on display at the Arko Art Center until Jan. 31. Many common themes will be explored, including the high hopes of the middle class in the relatively new market economy and the difference between the memories of individuals and official government statements. The exhibition will introduce talented new Chinese video artists, painters, installation artists and photographers to Korea. Details can be found at art.arko.or.kr.
