The Gallery of the National Library of Korea will host the exhibit “Urban Agriculture ― Handling the Third Landscape,” presented by the Italian Cultural Institute, beginning March 9 at 5:30 p.m. The city of Turin in northern Italy is the focus of this photographic display, involving Italian artists Giorgia Mannavola, Andrea Ferrari, Paolo Ermano, Alfredo Lazzari and Lorena Steri. They seek to analyze the difficult urban/rural relationship through displaced peasants attempting to recreate green space within the concrete urban jungle. Turin is representative of the industrial development that took place in Italy post-World War II. For more details go to www.iicseoul.esteri.it.
