An exploration of the sensory overload that is the modern-day urban experience will take place from Feb. 22 until March 25 at the Triad New Media Gallery in Seoul. “Urban Sensorium” is a collaboration between media artists, musicians, sound artists and architects seeking to form new perspectives on urban media. In particular, the artists will attempt to look beyond the surface of the intense commercialism of contemporary life. Michelle Teran, a Canadian media artist, will analyse the connection between social networks and their technological counterparts. She will also be giving a talk at Art Center Nabi on Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. Check out www.lloooll.net or www.triadnewmediagallery.com for more details about the event.
