The New Zealand Embassy, in cooperation with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Tourism New Zealand will be hosting the second “New Zealand Wine & Jazz Night” on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Once in a Blue Moon jazz bar in upmarket Cheongdam-dong, in southern Seoul. Guests will be able to experience the wine and cuisine of New Zealand, along with a jazz concert by Tim Strong, a professional jazz singer who also happens to be the husband of New Zealand’s ambassador to Korea, Jane Coombs. KBS anchor Baek Seung-ju, host of the program “Sang Sang Plus,” will be making a special guest appearance on stage to perform a jazz number. Ambassador Coombs noted that there is great potential for New Zealand wineries in the Korean market, as Koreans increasingly develop a taste for fine wine.
