“Cirque du Soleil ― Quidam” will be performing in Seoul at the Olympic Complex Square starting on Thursday and running through April 15. Founded in 1984 in Montreal, Quebec by street performers Daniel Gauthier and Guy Laliberte, Cirque de Soleil is now an international institution, having sold over 50 million tickets in more than 120 cities worldwide. “Quidam,” meaning “anonymous passerby” in Latin, is one of six touring Cirque du Soleil groups. The show itself focuses on a plotline, while veering dramatically across the entertainment spectrum, incorporating busking, circus, opera, ballet, rock and more in its unique formula. Shows are at 8 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays, 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 and 5 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are 55,000 won to 200,000 won.
