Canada turns 140 years old this year, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce has high expectations for its annual Canadian birthday barbecue. The outdoor barbecue is a classic summer tradition in the North American country, and the event will bring some of that flavor to Canadians who miss backyard grills and other expats and locals who want to get a feeling for Canadian summer fun. It will be held at the same venue as last year: the Nanji Campgrounds near the World Cup Stadium. Those wishing to participate must register at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Web site, www.cck.org, as no tickets will be sold at the gate. Tickets, which must be purchased before June 27, come with a chance to win a round trip ticket from Seoul to Vancouver.
