The Italian Cultural Institute and the Korea Foundation Cultural Center will host The New Italian Film Festival next month. Six Italian films made within the past eight years will be screened at the KF Cultural Center.
The films are: “Respiro (Breath)” (2002), “Le conseguenze dell’amore (The Consequences of Love)” (2004), “Mio cognato (My Brother-in-law)” (2003), “Lezioni di volo (Learning to Fly)” (2007), “Non ti Muovere (Don’t Move)” (2004) and “Quo Vadis, Baby?” (2005).
The films vary widely in genre and subject matter. The offerings include an Academy Award-winning private detective mystery, a Cannes Film Festival prize-winning film about the love between a mother and her son, and an intriguing medical drama set in Rome.
All of the films are recommended for viewers 15 and older. All screenings will have English subtitles. For movie times and dates, see www.kfcenter.or.kr or call (02) 3789-5600.
