Canada has long had a reputation as a prime destination for Koreans to study abroad. As many Koreans undertake the difficult task of selecting a school for study abroad, Foreign Student Services Korea, CASMO, an online community on the Web portal Daum, and the Canadian Embassy sponsored a fair on the subject.
At the Canadian Education Exhibition 2008, held Sunday, Koreans had a one-stop place to meet representatives from schools all over Canada.
Attendees were able to get details and exact information on how to create appropriate study plans for an education in Canada.
More than 55 Canadian schools attended the fair. Representatives on hand spanned all levels of the education system, including public, private and secondary schools, post-secondary institutions and ESL programs. The fair was held at the Seoul Plaza Hotel.
