Tomorrow: SIWA is putting together a Moroccan cooking class. Hayat Jawhar, wife of the deputy head of mission of the Kingdom of Morocco, will be the instructor. She is an experienced cook who has given cooking lessons for many cultural associations. For the SIWA event, she will teach how to cook “couscous with seven vegetables,” a popular Moroccan national dish. Traditional cookies, pies and teas will be served as dessert. The class will be a unique opportunity to learn and experience the diverse styles of Moroccan cuisine. The cooking class will start at 9:45 a.m. at Mrs. Hayat’s house.
