RASKB - NAMI ISLAND GETAWAY Saturday to Sunday: The Royal Asiatic Society Korea Branch is beginning a new tour program for families, which consists of a weekend getaway to Nami Island, Gangwon Province, with a choice of a day trip or overnight stay.
Nami Island is only 90 minutes from Seoul but boasts an environment with no cars and clean air. Activities include craft workshops, bicycle rentals, art galleries, restaurants and art performances. Family members can join the organized activities or make their own fun.
For members, the day tour costs 55,000 won for adults and 40,000 won for children under 13. For non-members, it costs 65,000 won and 50,000 won for adults and children, respectively.
The overnight tour costs members 147,000 won for adults and 40,000 won for children, and non-members 167,000 won and 50,000 won for adults and children, respectively.
The tour leaves from Yongsan Post Office at 7:30 a.m. and will return at 6 p.m. on Saturday. For those staying overnight, the tour will return to Seoul around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
