Friday: The Goethe-Institut, located in the Yongsan area of Seoul, will host a movie screening at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The feature film is “A Fatal Fairy Tale,” which tells the story of a criminal investigation in Munich, Germany.

In the movie, a woman witnesses a man burying a large box in the woods. She reports what she sees to the police, and two investigators pick up the case. The investigators discover a man’s corpse in the wooden box, and they arrest a carpenter on suspicion of murder. The suspect gives the investigators riddles from sentences in fairy tales, in an apparent attempt to reconstruct the crime.

But the police soon discover that the man is pointing them toward a crime that’s a lot more brutal than the one they expected.

The movie is in German and has English subtitles. The screening is free and open to all.
