Sunday: Adventure Korea has organized a one-day trip to the Demilitarized Zone in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

The tour includes a visit to Imjingak, the closest place that civilians can get to North Korea without permission.

A stop at Dora Observatory is also included in the tour, providing a full view of both the DMZ and Kaesong, the second-largest city in North Korea.

Additionally, the group will visit Tongilchon - also called “the unification village” - where visitors can learn about the daily lives of local residents.

Participants must bring a passport or an Alien Registration Card or they will not be able to go on the tour.

The trip, which costs 41,000 won ($33.50), includes transportation by charter bus as well as lunch and all entrance fees.

The bus departs at 9 a.m. from Express Bus Terminal Station, lines No. 3 and 7, exit 8, and at 9:30 a.m. from Hongik University Station, line No. 2, exit 1.
