To July 27: The Italian Cultural Institute, together with Seoul Art Cinema, is screening the most representative films by the director Sergio Leone, known as the father of spaghetti westerns.

Included will be “A Fistful of Dollars” (1964), “For a Few Dollars More” (1965), “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” (1966), “Once Upon a Time in the West” (1968), “A Fistful of Dynamite” (1971) and “Once Upon a Time in America” (1984).

As part of the Italian Cultural Institute’s program, Italian film critic and Leone expert Roberto Donati will introduce this Friday’s 6.30 p.m. screening of A Fistful of Dynamite. After Saturday’s 12:30 p.m. showing of Once Upon a Time in the West, he will also give a lecture, beginning at 4 p.m. He will be joined by Korean director Oh Seung-ook and film critics Kim Yong-jin and Kim Sung-uk.

All the films will be screened in English with Korean subtitles. There are three screenings per day, except Mondays. Tickets start from $4,000 won ($3.90). Seoul Art Cinema is located on the fourth floor of the Nakwon Building in Jongno, central Seoul.
