July 11: Yeoksam Global Village Center is holding a cooking class for foreigners in Korea to teach how to cook Korean traditional dishes: jjimdak and haepari naengchae. Jjimdak is a variety of jjim (a Korean steamed or boiled dish) and is made with chicken and various vegetables marinated in a ganjang-based sauce. Haepari naengchae is jellyfish coldplate, a summertime delicacy in Korea, and is usually served with sweet and sour seasoning with mustard.
