The 33rd YongPyong International Ski Festival welcomes foreigners living in Korea.
Since its start in 1983, the festival has attracted more than 300 people from 25 countries each year. All foreigners and their families will be given special discounts on accommodations and equipment while staying at the Yongpyong Resort, in Gangwon Province. A festival will follow on Saturday evening that includes a medal presentation ceremony and cultural events. The committee chairman of the festival is H.E. Francois Bontemps, the Belgian ambassador to Korea.
