Feb.10 to 11: Adventure Korea is arranging a trip to Mount Seorak National Park, in Gangwon province. The trip includes hiking both inner and outer Mount Seorak. The inner Seorak range is an untouched area in the park. On the first day, participants will hike the outer range, and hikers can choose between three courses ― Ulsan Rock, Bisundae Cliff or Biryong falls. For those who don’t want to hike, there is the relaxing option of taking a cable car to the peak of Geongumseong. The next day, participants will hike the Jujeongol course (Yongso Waterfall), which takes about three hours. Participants can also enjoy a nearby hot spring. The trip costs 89,000 won and includes transportation, three meals, accommodation and admission to the inner Seorak range. The bus will depart at 7:30 a.m. from Hongik University station, line No. 2, exit 1, and return the next day at 9 p.m.

Feb.17-19: Adventure Korea is organizing a special trip during the Lunar New Year. Participants will be heading for Pyeongchang, which is a candidate city for the 2014 Winter Olympics. On the first day, participants will spend time skiing or snowboarding for the day at Phoenix park. The next day, participants will move to the Bangdong Valley in Inje, which is a one and a half hour drive from the ski resort. At a secluded mountain cottage by the Narincheon creek, they can enjoy the scenery and try ice fishing or skating. On the third day, a diverse choice of winter sports will be available, such as hiking the snow-covered mountains, ice fishing, skating and playing soccer or ice hockey on the ice field.
The trip costs 250,000 won and it includes transportation, afternoon lift pass at the ski resort, ski or snowboard rental
for the day, three meals, accommodation, admissions and special barbecue party. The bus will leave on the Feb.17 at 8 a.m. from Hongik University station, line No. 2, exit 1, and return on Feb.19 at around 8:20 p.m.
