Tomorrow: The Yeol lecture series is in its fifth year. Organized with the Seoul Museum of History, Yeol Lectures 2007 will be dedicated to comparing Korean culture with other cultures of the world. Three of the six lectures will take place on the first Tuesday of each month between March and May, and will resume on the first Tuesday of each month between October and December at the Seoul Museum of History. Bernard Senecal, a religious studies professor at Sogang University, will deliver the first lecture tomorrow. It will focus on the religions of Korea, especially Christianity and Buddhism. Professor Senecal is a Catholic priest who has studied Buddhism since he arrived in Korea in 1984 as a member of the Society of Jesus. The lecture is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Seoul Museum of History, near Gwangwhamun station, line No. 5, exit. 7 and 8.
