Saturday: The Raskb is setting out to explore the port city of Incheon, Korea’s fourth largest city and second largest port. The first stop on the trip will be the Incheon Landing Memorial, which commemorates the site of American General Douglas MacArthur’s landing during the Korean War. Next stop will be the Jayu (“Freedom”) Park, famous for its excellent view over the inner harbor. Participants will have free time during the lunch hour to tour Chinatown and admire its exotic architecture. After touring the city, the group will board a sightseeing boat to view the Grand Incheon Bridge. The bridge is still under construction, but upon its completion in 2009, it will be the fifth longest in the world. The tour costs 34,000 won ($34) for members and 40,800 won for nonmembers. The bus leaves from Yongsan Post Office, near Sinyongsan Station, line No. 4, exit 1, at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The return is slated for 6 p.m.
