Saturday: The RASKB is heading out on a tour of Mount Sobaek National Park. The scenic Sobaek range, which arcs down the middle of South Korea, has seven peaks that rise above 1,300 meters (4,265 feet). The national park is famous for its wildflowers, particularly edelweiss. The group will hike for half an hour to reach Huibang Temple, the most famous temple in the park, established during the Silla Dynasty. After a brief visit to the temple and the picturesque waterfall below it, the group will head to Guin Temple, located in a small valley on the north slope of Sobaek. Unique in Korea, the temple boasts an elaborate, five-story main hall. After the temple stops, the group will head back to Seoul. The tour costs 38,500 won ($39) for members and 41,400 won for nonmembers. The bus leaves from the Korean Yongsan Post Office, near Sinyongsan Station, line No. 4, exit 1, at 8 a.m. on Saturday. The return is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
