Nov. 24 to 25: Adventure Korea has organized a two-day trip to Gyeongju in North Gyeongsang. The capital of the Silla Dynasty (57 B.C.E.-935 B.C.E.), the city boasts many of Korea’s ancient relics. On Saturday, the group will tour Bulguk Temple, designated a Unesco Cultural Heritage site. Four of its bridges (Cheongun, Baekun, Yeonhwa and Chilbo), have been designated National Treasures. The group will then visit Dabo Pagoda, which is featured on the back of the 10-won coin. Then the group will visit Gyeongju National Museum. On Sunday, the group will visit another Unesco site, Seokguram Grotto, a man-made temple made of granite, at Mount Toham. The bus leaves at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday from Hongik University Station, line No. 2, exit 1 and at 8 a.m. from Express Bus Terminal Station, line No. 3 or 7, exit 8.
