Sunday: Take off your shoes and let your feet get dirty for a good cause. The International Guides of Korea will host their third-annual barefoot marathon to promote awareness of the Earth’s ecosystem.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday evening with a live concert at the Daejeon Events Center. The 13-kilometer (8-mile) barefoot marathon over the fire trails of Gyejok Mountain begins at 10 a.m. Sunday. The entrance fee is 13,000 won.
