Sunday: Join the Royal Asiatic Society Korea Branch for a day trip to Deokcheok Island, located 71 kilometers (44 miles) southwest of Incheon.
The island features a 2-kilometer long crescent-shaped beach and a 290-meter high mountain, which is perfect for hiking. The tour will include a 50-minute hydrofoil trip around various islands off Incheon’s coast before arriving at Deokcheok.
The beaches are very popular at this time of year, so space is limited. Register as soon as possible.
The tour group will meet in front of the Yongsan post office at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday and return at approximately 7:30 p.m.
It costs 59,000 won for members and 69,000 won for non-members.
