Friday: The Animal Rescue Korea group will hold a fund raiser to help finance the move of 300 dogs from their Daejeon and Ilsan shelters, which are being closed, to a new shelter in Yangju, northern Seoul.

The move is estimated to cost around 10 million won to move the dogs and another 10 million won to construct a new shelter.

The event will feature live music from bands and a raffle for prizes including a DVD player, an MP3 player and a 100,000 won voucher for Sortinos restaurant.

The fundraiser will be held at Ole Stompers in Itaewon from 7:30 p.m.
