Monday: The Seoul International Women’s Association is holding its monthly author lecture with Kim Hee-jin, who has written a book on maedeup, the traditional ornamental knots that adorn many silk accessories in Korean furniture, traditional dress and handicrafts.
The lecture costs 5,000 won for members and 10,000 won for nonmembers and will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Korea Foundation Cultural Center on the first floor of the JoongAng Ilbo building in central Seoul.
