Jan. 22: The French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding a luncheon next week on the subject of managing financial risk in the new year with guest speaker Charles Pierron, chief country officer of Societe Generale in Seoul.
Pierron will present an overview of typical issues related to banking and corporate risks. He will also discuss measures to minimize risk, taking into account the current economic crisis in Korea. Pierron has over 36 years’ experience in the finance field and is an adviser to the French Minister of International Trade.
The luncheon will be conducted in English and costs 55,000 for members and 70,000 won for nonmembers.
It will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sofitel Ambassador’s Chardonnay Room.
