Tuesday: The Asia Society Korea Center is holding a luncheon titled, “The Current Status of World Taekwondo: How Taekwondo has helped the World.” Guest speaker Yang Jin-suk, the Secretary General of the World Taekwondo Federation, will discuss issues related to the globalization of taekwondo.

The Asia Society Korea Center, launched in 2008, works to strengthen U.S.-Asia ties by presenting various programs. The luncheon will be held at the Lotte Hotel in central Seoul.

Attendance costs 25,000 won for members, 30,000 won for non-members, and 10,000 won for students.
