To May 24: The Embassy of the Czech Republic, in association with the Seoul National University Museum of Art, is hosting an exhibition featuring the best young artists from the Czech Republic, titled “New Millennium, Minor Sensations.” The exhibition has been organized to celebrate the Czech Republic’s Presidency of the European Union in 2009. Young Czech artists strive to be observers of the delicate threads of thoughts, emotions and actions of everyday life.

This tendency toward a poetic grasp on reality has long been a tradition in Czech art. The exhibition will showcase the works of nine artists who represent the best of contemporary Czech art. It will be held at SNU Museum of Art in southern Seoul.

Seoul National University Station, line No. 2, exit 2.

The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Mondays.
