Turkish film week comes to the Korea Foundation Cultural Center at the end of this month. The Embassy of Turkey in Korea hosts screenings of three films. “Dondurmam Gaymak (Ice Cream, I Scream)” is a comedy about an ice cream truck driver who fights cutthroat competition. It will play on April 28. In the dramatic romance “Gonul Yarasi (Lovelorn),” set for April 29, a man returns to Istanbul after 15 years away in the countryside, only to become entangled in a dark affair. Last up on April 30 is “Herkes Kendi Evinde (Away from Home)”, about a young man who finds a surprise as he tries to sell his family’s olive farm. All films are in Turkish with English subtitles.
